Welder-plater 135/ Spawacz 135 / Svarshchik

We are seeking for skilled and experienced MAG welders-platers to Otanmäki, Kainuu region, Finland.
Our client manufactures parts for mining machines and railway vehicles. Welding is done according to WPS and technical drawings. Material alloyed steel, thickness from 1-30mm, welding done in various positions. One year contract for fulltime work (with possibility of continuation), following Finnish laws and collective agreement (technology industry). Start as soon as possibile.

What we require: ability to pass welding tests and work tests in order to continue working in this client company. Good welding skills and understanding of technical drawings. Arc Gouging skills are considered as asset. There is also a health examination (including drug tests) that you need to pass. Good teamwork skills and motivation.  

Listed below are the welding classes (ISO standard) that must be passed before starting employment. The classes are completed at the school and after the successfully completed tests, there are actual work tests at the premises of the client company.

Good knowledge of technical drawings. Plater’s skills. Advatage if you have other skills like robot welding or welding aluminium.

Salary:

The TVR (job requirement group in collective agreement for technology industry) of the job varies in groups 4-8, so the amount of the basic salary (TVR+HKO) may change. The person’s basic salary TVR+HKO serves as the guaranteed salary

The salary at the beginning of the employment relationship shall be: for the first 1 month: 14,45€/h, after this commission salary (average in commission 15,5-17,5€/h)
shift extra in evenings +1,35€/+ shortened working hour 6,3%,
night shift +2,50€/h + shortened working hours while working in 3-shifts 11%

Living: lightly furnished apartment, where everyone have their own room, but join kitchen and bathroom (max 3 people in one apartment). Rent about 250€/month. Distance to work about 1km.

Working hours: shift work, 40h/week + possibility for flexible hours following holiday plans and customers rules. Sometimes also overtime work, with 50% and 100% hours.
