Suitability assessments are used to find out what kind of work tasks are suitable for an applicant, the talents of the applicant and how the applicant can develop further.

The suitability assessments are performed by people certified by SHL and they use the Occupational Personality Questionnaires (OPQ) and Verify Ability tests.

What is the Occupational Personality Questionnaire? The OPQ32 is one of the world’s most used and extensively researched assessment techniques. It is used for predicting a person’s potential at work, minimising the risk of mistakes in recruiting and maximising the results of development measures. The questionnaire has been in use since 1984 and it is well-suited for recruiting new employees, developing teams or organisations and for developing management skills. Eight out of the ten largest companies use the OPQ.

What are the Verify Ability tests? Ability tests are used for mapping the applicant’s numerical, verbal and inductive deduction as well as mechanical understanding and skills in calculating and revising. This gives us information about what the strengths of the applicant are and what kind of work they are best suited for.

How long will it take? The applicant performs the suitability assessment tasks using the Internet and results are available right after the completion of the assessment. This makes the process efficient and fast. Please contact us for more information.
